Streamline Inspection Ltd. requires an experienced software engineer to join our growing team.
 
The software engineer will lead the development of inspection technology software. Reporting to the project supervisor, this role will work directly with field technicians, hardware suppliers, and technical staff to develop a functional specification, a software specification, and write the code.
 
This position will require continuous support of field activities as well as the development of enhancements to the program on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, codes, tests, documents, implements and maintains application programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Chief Inspector with annual inspection planning and inspection budgets
  • Assist Chief Inspector with SOW creation for jobs planned throughout the year
  • Complete NDE Reporting and any calculations as required
  • Submit AB-10 documents to ABSA when required
  • Request and file MDR’s and C of I’s from ABSA
  • Perform final review of field inspections, create final reports

  • DIP creation (vessel static data and inspection dates) for all equipment inspected

MT/PT/ET Technicians

Streamline Inspection Ltd. is looking for certified MT, PT, or ET Technicians based throughout Alberta (Red Deer, Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Fort McMurray and Calgary). Candidates must be willing to travel throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

 

Applicants will be considered for this role if they posses at least 1 out of 3 of the MT/PT/ET Certifications. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT), or Eddy Current Testing (ET) as certifications allow
  • Perform inspections at plant turnarounds/projects
  • Create detailed reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Co-ordinate with administrative staff to create final reports to send to clients

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Certifications for any or all of – MT, PT, and ET inspections and tests.
  • Additional NDE/API certifications are considered an asset.
  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, and WHMIS training
  • Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook​
