Phased Array Team Lead

Streamline Inspection has an immediate opening for a Phased Array Team Lead in the Calgary or Fort Saskatchewan area. The company is looking for a high-performance individual to direct PAUT operations and support field services. Successful candidates should have a driven, hands-on approach to supporting the advanced services division.

 

This position will play a major role in leading the overall progress of continuous improvement efforts while working closely with, and supporting, the leadership team. The individual will provide technical and quality support as well ensure that all PAUT services are delivered and held to the highest level of standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and qualification of PAUT procedures, techniques and addendums
  • Interpret specifications and standards, designating particularly towards PAUT and ToFD techniques
  • Complete PAUT operating setups and scan plans for upcoming projects
  • Provide functional direction with regards to implementing and maintaining PAUT services

Role Specific Competencies & Experience:

  • Experience with automated Phased Array Ultrasonics (PAUT) and Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) Ultrasonic Techniques
  • Demonstrated capability in developing NDT Level I and II training and testing material and administering training programs for NDT personnel for certification and re-certification
  • Familiar with Alberta specific jurisdictional requirements and Safety Codes Acts
  • Knowledgeable in oil and gas processes

  • Minimum of a CGSB UT Level 2 Certification

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II Technician

Streamline Inspection Ltd. is looking for certified CGSB UT Level II Technicians based throughout Alberta. Candidates must be willing to travel throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

 

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; Calgary, Alberta.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform UT corrosion surveys
  • Perform inspections at plant turnarounds/projects
  • Create detailed reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Co-ordinate with administrative staff to create final reports to send to clients

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • CGSB UT Level II certification
  • Additional NDE/API certifications such as Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (PT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET) are considered an asset.
  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, and WHMIS training
  • Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook​
